Dear Parents and Friends, We are pleased to invite you to join us on our upcoming spiritual journey to Saquarema and Rio de Janeiro, April 12-24, 2023. We have an excellent program with powerful shamanic experiences led by Carlos Sauer, Juliana Ramos and members of the Fulni-ô tribe. We will offer shamanic teachings and practices at our new healing center in Saquarema, a boat trip to nearby breathtaking beaches and waterfalls, we will also visitspiritual healing centersin Rio de Janeirofrom Umbanda(African traditions) andof spiritualism(traditions of Brazilian spirits) and two nights in a magnificent hotel by the beach in Rio de Janeiro.

Program :

• April 12 - Pick up at Tom Jobin airport in Rio de Janeiro and transfer to Saquarema.

• April 13 - Sweat Lodge Welcome Ceremony.

• April 14 - Body painting with sacred motifs by the Fulni-ô Indians and ritual “The healing power of Fire”.

• April 15 – “The Healing Power of Fire” Ritual.

• April 16 - Ritual "The Healing Power of the Earth".

• April 17 - Ritual "The Healing Power of the Earth".

• April 18 – “The Healing Power of Water” Ritual.

• April 19 – “The Healing Power of Water” Ritual.

• April 20 - Ritual "The Healing Power of Air".

• April 21 – “The Healing Power of Air” Ritual.

• April 22 – Transfer to the Tropical Barra hotel on the beach in Rio de Janeiro. Visit Corcovado, Sugar Loaf and Botanical Garden. (optional)

• April 23 – Closing ceremony at the Casa da Águia (House of the Eagle).

• April 24 - Drop off at Galeão International Airport.

The cost of the spiritual trip to Brazil is 3000 euros, plus airfare.

Fees include: 

● All accommodations in Saquarema and Rio de Janeiro. 

● All transfers to and from Rio de Janeiro airport. 

● All transport associated with the itinerary. 

● Three meals a day (excluding sodas, alcoholic beverages, snacks and additional meals) 

● Accompaniment in your healing process and all the teachings with Carlos Sauer, Juliana Ramos and the members of the Fulni-ô tribe.

Fees do not include: 

● Airline tickets, baggage expenses and additional travel expenses. 

● Passport and Brazilian tourist visa fees (in case you need them). 

● Accident and/or illness insurance. Please double check and ensure that your medical insurance covers you during your trip to Brazil.

● All transportation costs and/or hotels and restaurants not included in the itinerary. (Please book your flight to depart on the first day and return on the last day of the itinerary). 

● Tips for tour guides, drivers and hotel staff. 

● Drinks such as sodas, soft drinks or alcoholic drinks. 

● Room service, telephone calls and laundry. 

● All entrance fees for optional tourist spots such as Corcovado, Sugar Loaf, Botanical Garden, etc. 

● All expenses of a purely personal nature.

WHO IS CARLOS SAUER?

Carlos Sauer, Brazilian by birth, was adopted by Nelson Turtle (1937-2010), Elder of the Southern Cheyenne Council of Elders, Oklahoma, and representative of the Native American Church. He belongs to a family of four generations of spiritualist healers. He practices and teaches his family's healing tradition, along with what he learned from his Native American teachers.

He taught for over twenty years at the Esalen Institute, Big Sure, California, conducting traditional smudging ceremonies, sweat lodges, and the spiritualistic ritual of the White Table.

He was a teacher at the Foundation for Shamanic Studies in Brazil and was invited by Michael Harner to conduct seminars on the Brazilian spiritualist tradition in the United States and Europe.
