Medicine Drum Circles

 

The ancestral sound of the Drum brings us back to our natural rhythm, to the beat of our heart, to the beat of the heart of our mother Earth, to the beat of the Cosmos. From antiquity, the sound of the Drum has been at the center of Sacred Ceremonies and Healing Rituals on all continents. The language of the Drum has always been considered the natural language of the Spirits, carried it between the ordinary and non-ordinary world, as well as the horse of the shaman.

 

Even today, the Drum can be considered an instrument of great power if used with sacredness, knowledge, benevolence, conscience and with clear intention. During our Medicine Drum circles we will find the connection with the Beings of Light, generated through the creation of ancestral sounds as part of a sacred ceremony. We will learn how the reproduction of the Drum tones is only the last visible and audible passage of a far deeper and more subtle process, which can open to non-ordinary states of consciousness and awaken vital energy and deep potential and unknown that are in us.

 

In shamanic traditions, the animal of power is a precious ally which transmits to us the qualities and the knowledge which it carries in it, it accompanies us to awaken our internal powers and our vital energy, it brings us great lessons on our personal gifts and help us in the development of our perception of reality.

 

Everyone is welcome to participate in Medicine Drum circles.

 

During the first part of the evening, we sacredly play our drums and rattles and we sing songs of prayer, ceremony and sharing to connect with the Spirits, the unique energies of the day, as well as the specific needs of the group. This is where we meet our power animals, who will lead us to experience sleeping parts of us and hidden qualities that have not yet had the opportunity to express themselves or develop, to receive a great inner strength.

 

The second part of the evening, we will live a shamanic healing ceremony tailored to the intention that led us to participate in the evening.
